Send me info about the nationally accredited Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda (HLT62615):

Ayurveda is ‘the Science of Life’

As an Ayurvedic practitioner you will be able to help clients to escape emotional, mental and physical discomfort and illness by rebalancing the tridoshas – vata, pitta, and kapha.

You will learn how this is done through a combination of lifestyle modification, dietary advice, herbal treatment, massage, and the unique detoxification method known as panchakarma.

This 5000-year-old science-based tradition is recognized alongside mainstream medicine in countries such as India and Sri Lanka. It incorporates everything from diet, lifestyle, herbal medicine to yoga, and massage therapy, blending the laws of nature with scientific processes to remedy a range of conditions.

Is Ayurveda right for me?

Yes – If you yearn to become a holistic source of health advice, offering Ayurvedic medicines, and therapeutic treatments for your clients, creating happiness and health for everyone you touch. And If you can check off these boxes, there’s a good chance that you have met your perfect match.

Do I need to have a background in medicine? No…

You don’t need a background in medicine, but you do need to have a passion for helping people holistically. You may already be involved in some form of wellbeing practice such as yoga, nutritional medicine, naturopathy, chiropractic, osteopathy, massage etc., and want to expand your skills and widen your experience. Or you may be new to the field and looking for the right tools.

Where will this take me?

You could be opening your own clinic once you graduate – and you’ll learn all about business planning and marketing within the course units too so you’ll be well prepared to start practicing immediately.

Or you might choose to work in multidisciplinary clinics along with other healthcare professionals.

Once you’ve completed the course, you may also be eligible to apply for memberships of professional associations such as the Australian Natural Therapists Association, Australian Traditional Medicine Society, Australasian Association of Ayurveda.

Entry Requirements : You DON’T need to have completed the Diploma first…

The only requirement is that you must have a Year 12 certificate or equivalent or satisfactory completion of a Certificate IV in any field. Mature age students with life experience may also apply for the course provided you meet literacy, language, and numeracy skill requirements.

When is the next intake?

The next intake is April 2021 – However we highly recommend you start with enrolling in one or two units now for three good reasons:
