BSB50215 Diploma of Business

Whatever field or industry you intend to work in, a diploma-level qualification in business is an asset. Graduates of the Diploma of Business will be fully prepared toadvance their careers , or become a valuable part of someone else’s organisation. Having a great idea is just one part of being an entrepreneur; you have to know how to market it, how to deal with investors, clients and other third parties, and be able to handle the trials and tribulations of a growing business (the problems of success can be just as fatal as the problems of failure).

This comprehensive nationally recognised Diploma will ensure you enter the corporate world with  the skills and attributes you need to succeed or you can add value to your business by applying the knowledge and skills you gain from this course.

Students’ progress through the course by completinga unit at a time. Upon completion of all the units and required assessment,students receive a nationally recognised qualification.

Degree pathway

Students who have completed the Diploma of Business at AIHFE may be eligible to apply to complete a Bachelor of Business degree with higher education providers.

General entry requirements:

students must meet required literacy and numeracy requirements. It is preferred that the learners have worked in a commercial environment or having some business experience.

Assessment:

All units of competence will be assessed using a selection of tools. Portfolios, essays, reports, role-plays, case studies, questioning, simulation activities may be used to gather evidence for the unit of competency.

Students are required to complete 8 units over four terms full-time basis. Part time option is also available.

Upon successful completion of all the units  and administrative requirements, BSB 50215 Diploma of Business will be awarded.

Delivery mode: Blended delivery mode

The course is offered by online delivery and live online tutorials and supplementary weekly lectures. This mode provides students to join virtual class rooms in real time and interact with their teachers and fellow students in real time and ask any of their questions and contribute for class discussion from any location as long as they have a good internet connection and a lap top or a desk top computer. For that reason, the course is delivered on a set structure which will be made available to students before enrollment. All the lectures are recorded and archived so that you can go back and listen any time!
