Ayurveda Work place training!

AIHM/AIHFE is now considering to provide more flexible clinical training options for our graduates. As a part of the Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda training/qualification, students are required to complete 400 hours of clinical training. Currently, this training is provided in our Perth Campus clinic by an intensive clinic mode conducted 5 times from the 4th term. While this a great way to finish your clinical training, we understand some students, particularly those who are living out of Perth, find it difficult to come to Perth due to the cost involved with travelling and accommodation and other commitments.

To assist those students, we are planning to offer workplace training and assessment in place of student’s choice, provided there is a willing suitably qualified practitioner (advanced Diploma or higher qualification in Ayurveda, recognised in Australia) to gather required evidence, a suitable clinic and facilities.

We will be financially rewarding the practitioners for this service as well. All the assessment decision will be made by our qualified practitioners. The practitioners at the workplace are not required to have training and assessment qualification.

As you can see our flexibility and the quality of delivery and the cost is second to none. You can study all the theory units from anywhere on the planet, as long as you have a good internet connection and a computer. You can interact with fellow students and teachers in real time, in our virtual classrooms and tutorials. All the lectures and tutorials are recorded and if you missed out any class, you can listen to it any time that suit you and any number of times. There are no final exams, and your skills are assessed by way of ongoing assessment (assignment/ case studies/ clinical assessment). Eligible students can apply for a $5000.00 scholarship. You can also pay the tuition fees by interest-free installments. There is no better time than now for you to apply!

The applications to the course will be closed on 23/03/19 . If you still haven’t sent your application, and seriously considering becoming a qualified Ayurveda practitioner please do it now before it is too late.

Ayurveda New intake in 2019

Ayurveda New intake in 2019

AIHFE is pleased to inform that we are now ready to take another intake of students for the nationally recognised, industry-endorsed Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda Course. The course will be commencing in February 2019.

The course will be offered throughout two years (full time), and all the theory units are delivered via our virtual campus mode. Students can study all the theory units from any destination without leaving their home, provided you have a good internet connection and a computer. Unlike many other online courses where students are left with a bunch of learning materials for them to do it themselves, out course is structured and there are real-time tutorials that students are required to attend. By attending these tutorials, students get an opportunity to ask any question from their teachers and interact with their fellow students. The timetable for each term will be advertised in advance.

In addition to the theory units there are practical components to the course. These practical components are offered as intensive workshops and clinics in Perth, WA commencing from the end of Term 4. Each term lasts for ten weeks, and there are four terms per year.

Students also may gain some clinical training hours with a qualified practitioner in Ayurveda in their locality provided the practitioner has a minimum of Advanced diploma qualification and Certificate iv in assessment and training and appropriate clinical facility to provide the training. However, the student must get prior approval form the college before engaging in any such clinical activities.

As some of you may know,  the government has removed VET student loan facility (VSL)  for many courses in 2017 including Ayurveda course. Therefore students will not be eligible for VSL or Austudy/Abstudy for the studies. However, to assist the students who have a real passion for Ayurveda, AIHFE is offering scholarships worth $5000.00  per each eligible students. The scholarship fee can be used to pay the tuition fees at $625.00 per term over 8 terms. In order to qualify for a scholarship, students must be Australian Citizen or Permanent Residents and must have completed year 12 or equivalence or completed Certificate iv level qualification or equivalence. They must also demonstrate proficiency in English and must be full-time students.

AIHFE also offers an interest-FREE easy payment plan so that students can pay their course fees on a regular basis without incurring any top-up fees or interest. Our interest FREE payment method is even better than VSL, as it incurs 20%  loading fees above the money borrowed. Please note that the easy payment plan is administered by a third party and they will charge very nominal admin fee per transaction.

There is no better time than now to learn this 5000-year-old ancient science of life and becoming a fully pledged Ayurveda practitioner and start helping others and earn a healthy income which engaging in a rewarding career.

I have attached a copy of the brochure, an application form, Course fee and structure of the course and an application for the scholarship. If you are interested in applying for 2019, please send your completed application form together with requested evidence of your Academic transcript, a copy of the Australian passport or evidence of your residency ASAP to enable us to process your application.

If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to contact me directly on this Email.

Otherwise, I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Australian Government recognises Massage qualification And AIHFE as a VSL(Vet Student Loan) provider

In the massive shake up for the funding model with the Vocational Education courses, the government has approved only Diploma of Remedial Massage course as an eligible course for Vet Student Loan. Diploma of Remedial Massage qualification is the only complementary Medicine qualification approved for VSL loan. The approval has been granted only for a few providers, and the AIHFE is pleased to announce that it has been approved as a provider for VET STUDETs’ Loan (VSL) to offer Diploma of Remedial Massage course.
AIHFE will be commencing Diploma of Remedial Massage course from July this year. There are only very few places available for the eligible student to study under VET STUDENT LOAN scheme as the government has placed a ceiling of funding.
However, AIHFE has announced very attractive interest-free payment plan so that students, in fact, will pay less than what they would have paid back if they have accessed the VET Students loan scheme.

VSL will be offered only for those students who can demonstrate their commitment to course completion and have required pre-requisite. They also must be Australian citizen. The available places will be offered on first come first serve basis for the most eligible students. If you access the VSL then your initial debt amount (including the loan fee, if applicable) plus indexation must be paid back once you start earning over a certain amount. The compulsory repayment threshold for the 2016-2017 income year is $54,869.

If you are interested in applying for the Diploma of Remedial Massage course commencing in July either as a VET STUDENT Loan applicant or fee paying students (including those who like to access the interest-free easy payment plan), please contact the Institute today at AIHFE on 08 94173553 or send us an Email to registrar@aihfe.edu.au. The number of enrollment for this course is strictly limited to provide the best possible required hands-on training experience to our students.
All the massage theory units are delivered via AIHFE virtual campus mode where students can interact with their teachers and fellow students in real time. Hands-on practical sessions will be held in the evenings and weekend depend on the students’interest.

Diploma of Remedial Massage course offered by the AIHFE is nationally recognised, and industry endorsed. The government approval of AIHFE as a VSL provider is another testament to the quality of training provided by the Institute. Students fees are protected under the ACPET (Industry peak body) tuition assurance scheme.
AIHFE course fee structure has been kept to a most competitive and affordable level to encourage many students to take this rewarding career that has satisfactory job opportunities and the potential for earning a good income. Graduates of the AIHM/AIHFE can pursue their higher Education goal to obtain Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine ) or Bachelor of Clinical Practice offered by CSU with credit award for the studies completed at the AIHM/AIHFE.

Better than VET FEE-HELP!

Study now without paying interest or top up fees…….
As you may know, the government ceased the VET FEE-HELP loan scheme as of 2017 and introduced a new student loan scheme called Vet Students Loan (VSL). However, the eligible courses and course providers have dramatically been reduced in the new scheme. The new scheme has made a negative impact on the students who aren’t allowed to choose the course that enables them to pursue their passion.

To address this issue, AIHFE now offers interest-FREE payment plans for all its nationally recognised qualifications (Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas,) so you can study by paying as little as $99 a week, depending upon the course.

We don’t even charge the 20% top up fees that the government charges through their VET Students Loan Scheme.

AIHFE offers all theory components of the courses via virtual campus mode, where students can participate and interact with their teachers and fellow students in real time from any destination as long as students have access to a good internet connection and computer.

For details, please ring 08 9417 3553 or send an email to info@aihfe.edu.au.
